About Magellan Arts

Founded in 2025 by multi-Grammy Award nominee violinist Philippe Quint, and in collaboration with one of Chicago’s most venerable institutions, the Chicago History Museum, Magellan Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to advancing classical music, as well as the visual, performing, and literary arts.

Through education, community engagement, artistic creation, and cultural enrichment, our mission is to honor and expand Chicago’s cultural heritage while fostering creativity and innovation in the arts.
